The task was to build a kinetic installtion with the keywords ‘error’ and ‘sound’. My concept was an automatized catapult that is constantly throwing balls to a gong. A machine doesn’t make mistakes by default so I had to make sure some balls miss the target. I planned to make some similar looking marbles with the same colour and size but with a different material and weight.
